Qualifications for Families with Students in Grades K - 12

The following qualifications and requirements are necessary for making application to the school in addition to the completed application and application fee:

Written evidence, or otherwise, to the fact that at least one parent has been “born again” and that their children also have been “born again”.  This will depend, however, on their age of understanding.

• Established involvement and regular attendance of at least one parent with their children in a Bible teaching, Bible preaching church which is similar in doctrine to Blue Ridge Bible Church.

• Students must submit a reference form attesting to their conduct and character.

• Families must submit a reference form attesting to their spiritual life and involvment in their local church.

• Students entering grades 7 - 12 must complete a written questionaire relating to their spiritual life (available from the school office).

• All students for whom application is made must demonstrate a sincere desire to attend BRCS.

• Current achievement test results are required.  Entrance testing will be provided if current records are not available.  Students must score average or above average on the achievement/entrance testing unless they are currently receiving intervention for learning difficulties.

• Current grade card, up-to-date immunization records, and a copy of the student’s birth certificate are also required. 

 When all the application documentation is received and reviewed, a family interview is scheduled with a member of the school's administration.

Kindergarten/First Grade Cut-Off Date 

Any student entering kindergarten must be five years old before August 1, and any student entering first grade grade must be six years old before August 1.  This coincides with Missouri Public Schools, which comply with Senate Bill 572 and exceptions are not made.

Preschool Enrollment
We accept preschoolers who are 3 years old by August 1 and who are fully            potty-trained.  To enroll for preschool, simply submit a preschool application, birth certificate, immunization form, and the appropriate application fee.  No other reference forms are necessary.
