Thank you for your interest in Blue Ridge Christian School! The 2012-13 school year will mark our 45th year of serving Christian families in the greater Kansas City area.
Our MISSION is to work with the home and church to provide a Christ-centered spiritual, academic, and physical foundation in a nurturing environment; to produce young men and women who will carry the light of the Gospel to their world.
To accomplish this, our focus is found in Psalm 78:1-7, which charges parents to be diligent in thoroughly training their children in the Word of God. In doing so, God’s Word and His faithfulness will be perpetuated from generation to generation.
The strength of our school is our employees, who labor diligently, partnering with parents to accomplish the mandate found in Psalm 78. The last verse of that chapter expresses how our teachers accomplish this: “So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.”
By God’s grace, our teachers instruct, disciple, guide, and love each student, preschool through 12th grade, with skillful hands and hearts full of integrity! Here are some highlights of what our school offers today’s Christian family:
- Full range of course offerings including dual credit classes (high school and college credit), computer courses, music, art, French, and many extra-curricular activities
- A comprehensive program PRESCHOOL through 12th grade
- Our faculty is comprised of individuals who love the Lord Jesus Christ and are called to their ministry of teaching and discipling children and youth
- We are fully accredited and all our core teachers are certified in the subject area in which they teach
- We have 44 years of fruitful ministry – our average teacher tenure is 17 years, with several in their third decade of service at the school
- We offer convenient daily bus service from the Belton/Raymore area
The education of your children is one of the most important decisions you will make as parents. We invite you to contact us to receive more information, to schedule a school tour, or to ask questions you may have.
Blessings,
Larry Becker
